Mirari Cañaveras

Technical VFX Artist at Ametz Studios

While studying at DigiPen, Mirari worked as a 3D generalist on two student game projects published on Steam: Mouseventures, a 3D puzzle game, and Avani.

On Mouseventures, she was responsible for creating the VFX, which sparked her interest in this field and pushed her to explore VFX more deeply. Through these projects, Mirari discovered her passion for combining artistic expression with technical problem-solving, which ultimately led her to pursue stylized VFX and real-time workflows.

Mirari is currently working at Ametz Studios as a Technical VFX Artist on an indie game called Tonalli.

Outside of work, Mirari is deeply passionate about video games, music, and most notably cats. She's well known among friends for having quite a few of them and proudly embracing the “cat person” title. She loves being part of a team and is always eager to learn. In her free time, Mirari enjoys playing games with friends or playing Teamfight Tactics.
