Jason Keyser

Senior VFX Artist, Founder of VFX Apprentice 

A world renowned FX artist and devoted VFX educator. Jason has worked in entertainment as both a 2D FX and 3D VFX artist for 13 years. He has animated for the Powerpuff Girls, Netflix's Arlo, and multiple video game titles for Riot Games - including League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics.

While working full-time at Riot, Jason created over 60 FX and VFX educational videos on his YouTube channel, designed and taught internal courses for artists at Riot, mentored prospective FX artists, facilitated the VFX Bootcamp at GDC, and spoke at conferences to students and pros alike.

Min Hua Yang (AKA Mia Yang)

Senior Real-time VFX Artist

Mia is a Senior Real-time VFX Artist based in Taiwan who loves bridging the gap between art and tech. She specializes in Unity, XR development, and crafting shader workflows. Her daily focus is all about making stunning visuals run flawlessly under strict performance limits, especially on mobile and XR platforms.

Mia is also a huge fan of traditional 2D hand-drawn animation, which constantly inspires her real-time visual logic. As an instructor at VFX Apprentice, Mia is excited to share her real-world optimization tricks, shader tips, and practical problem-solving skills with the community!
