In this course you will learn...

Week 1 - Looping VFX
Join your classmates for a live orientation and begin your journey with looping FX.

Week 2 - Burst FX
Learn the importance of timing and create burst FX like muzzle flashes, zaps, or splats.

Week 3 - Spell FX Sequence
Mentors guide you through creating VFX with clarity with a dive into creating spells.

Week 4 - Spell FX Sequence
Continue and complete your spell sequence and learn about the importance of color.

Week 5 - Portfolio Building
Dive into production workflows and VFX pipelines. Work on your online portfolio.

Week 6 - Art Test
Mentors begin paint-over feedback and put you to the test with a full art test.

Week 7 - Art Test
Complete your art test and record a portfolio piece while mentors offer paint-over feedback.

Week 8 - Interview Prep
Share your portfolio. Mentors guide you through the hiring process and offer job interview prep.
