Beginner Bootcamp and Portfolio Bootcamp are limited-seat, eight-week sessions with hands-on FX training. 

Are you an aspiring VFX artist who is either new to the craft or trying to get a job in the industry? VFX Apprentice Bootcamps were designed to give you a competitive edge in as little as eight weeks. 

Our 8-week Beginner Bootcamp and Portfolio Bootcamp are limited-seat sessions where you will learn with a mix of live training and feedback while also gaining access to our library of FX courses.

Your VFX Bootcamp Mentors

The Beginner Bootcamp will be led by Gabriel "Nibilli" Boileau.
Gabi started their career as a software engineer before they found their passion in VFX. They were hired as a VFX / Tech Artist at Virtuos Games to work on Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. They have gone on to work on a variety of projects like VALORANT for Riot Games and, most recently, World of Warcraft at Blizzard Entertainment.

The Portfolio Bootcamp will be led by Sjors de Laat.
Sjors has worked on video game VFX and cinematics for Fortnite, Godfall: Fire & Darkness, Tales of Runeterra, and Gears of War 5.
He is currently working at Tuatara Games, where he contributes to projects like the My Hero Academia skins for Fortnite and DLC for Godfall. He has also worked with Axis Studios on a series of cinematics and commercials for many popular titles.

Beginner Bootcamp

This introductory bootcamp provides a thorough guide to the amazing world of VFX.
During the 8 weeks, you will dive deep into FX foundations, drawing, painting, particle systems, and more! Then use these new skills in popular real-time game engines. Beginner Bootcamp includes 3 months of VFX courses and permanent access to the curriculum lessons & materials, live feedback session recordings, and the VFX Apprentice Discord Community.

Portfolio Bootcamp

This intermediate bootcamp is designed to strengthen your artistic and technical abilities to make stylized VFX.
Get personalized feedback and mentorship to help you create impressive VFX for your portfolio, aimed at helping you land a job. By the end of this course, you will have a professionally critiqued art test for your portfolio as well as in-depth preparation for job interviews. Portfolio Bootcamp includes 3 months of VFX Apprentice All Access, and permanent access to the live recordings, exclusive learning materials, and the VFX Apprentice Discord Community.
